Service Outage Sunday

Unfortunately we had a service problem today that didn't trigger our service quality monitoring system, but did affect service. Please accept my apologies for this. We're working to improve the monitoring system to catch the particular type of error it missed. Service has been brought back to normal operating state.

No, no full syncing yet. Only partial calendars. I have four, and only half of my main GCal is being synced.

It still doesn´t work... no sync on calendar or contacts to my iPhone..

Hi,

When NuevaSync has these issues, why do I lose all of my contacts? I would have expected that if the service goes offline then my contacts should be unaffected.

Are you sending back some status that the iPhone interprets as meaning that all contacts should be deleted?

Would really like to know.

Love the service though. Keep up the good work!

@damo: we're investigating this. There are measures in the service to avoid sending an out of sync response to the device but in this particular set of circumstances they may not have worked as intended. Last week's issues were different in that the device itself triggered the out of sync condition (after a firmware update). We don't have any control over that.

@Nejc - I had this problem last week, and forcing a resync cleared the issue. Go into the iPhone's settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> NuevaSync account -> Contacts -- switch it off, wait for all your phone's contacts to clear, then switch it back on and wait. Your contacts will resync over the next few minutes, 50 at a time. At that point, you should have just 1 of each.

my iphone calendar won't sync to my google (I've been using Nuevasnyc for months with no problems) calendar anymore, since Sunday, June 21st. I keep getting the error on my phone that my password to get to google is incorrect. But it hasn't changed. Any idea what's up with that? I'd like to get my calendar back on my phone using Nueva but if it doesn't come back up soon I'm gonna have to just use google. I'd like to stay with you guys...

I have disabled and enabled contacts in iphone settings for exchange and now it is all good - NO more duplicates! :)

Still no calendar sync with google on Sunday June 28. What's up, still having probs?
